Believe In Me

            On a sunny morning in Jakarta. Yeah, like usual this morning is same with the morning before. This morning David asks Lucy, his new girlfriend to go to the park. Every Sunday David allows himself to take a walk in that place just to enjoy life. That place becomes an unforgettable memory for David, memory of losing his girlfriend Winda.

            Six months ago on Sunday at around 9, unexpected thing happened. When they were sitting on a bench that located at the corner of the park, enjoying the beautiful view among the big city. At first, their talk was full of laugh, but no one knew why suddenly Winda silenced a moment, liked she was thinking about something. Her face showed that she was very worried.

            “Are you okay, Winda?” asked David

            “ Oh yeah, I’m fine.” Answered her with a bit shocked tone.

            “You look worried from your face, Why?”asked David again.

Winda shaked her head. “No, noyhing.” Answered her.

            “Hei just tell me what’s wrong?” said David with no hostage.

            “Ngg, David, looks like we should end our relationship.” A sentence that was very unexpected out from his girlfriend’s mouth.

            “Why you said that?”  asked David with a bit emotional voice.

            “The main thing that we have to leave each other. We must forget our relationship that we have build all this time. Can you look other woman that is better than me.” Said Winda.

            “What is the meaning of this? Don’t said whatever you like!” said David angrily, holding Winda’s shoulder.

Winda then hugs David tightly while she’s crying, “I’m sorry David, I must go.” said her. Winda left David, but he holds Winda’s hands. She tried to leave him, however David let her left.

            “Wait!” shout David from the far, but it was too late. Wiinda has gotten in to the taxi she called.

            Since that time, David always contacts Winda again, but the number isn’t active any more. David then looks for her in her apartment, but he hasn’t found it until now.

            Six months later, this time David has a new girlfriend, Lucy’s the name. a women with beautiful face, easy to smile, and so kind like Winda. David met her while he was walking in this park and accidentally they bought ice cream together.

            In this park they walk without a single bit of bored feeling. They finally stopped on a bench, place where David and Winda separated. Yes, they are talking about activities that they have done this week, laughing.

            Between the laught, suddenly someone approachs them, a woman that never be forgotten by David, Winda. She looks so neat and brings a travelling bag. David stands up from the bench. He then holds Winda’s hands, without looking about the condition around.

            “Winda, where are you all this time?” asked David with bright eyes.

            “You shouldn’t know that.” releasing David’s hands.

Lucy doesn’t want disturbed their meeting, finally she left that place.

            “Ngg, I will buying ice cream.” said her then go.

David looks like doesn’t feel that Lucy is near him.

            “I think it will be our last meeting.” Said Winda.

            “What do you mean for the last meeting?” asked David with emotional voice.

            “I must get the medicine in London immediately. Actually, I sick. I got a brain cancer and the doctor said that my life remain three days again. So I don’t want to tell you about that. And I will moving to London, there are my family there. I’m sorry.” answered her hesitate.

            “What, so you end our relationship because that?” asked David.

            “Yes.” answered her nervous.

            “Why do you said that inthis time?” ask David with emotion.

Holding her tears Winda answered, ”I don’t want if you always think about me. I don’t want to hurt your heart and my heart. We have separate ways. We don’t destinied to life together. I know that we can not accept this matter, but can you promise to me for this time only?” asked her.

            “What is that?” asked David.

            “ Can you promise to love and keep your girlfriend, like our relationship before. I know that she is very kind woman to you.” said her.

            “Yes, I definitely promised.” Said him.

            Instantly they hug. They can not holding their tears. from a distance, Lucy looks that event, and she almost cried. Winda then go leave David alone by himself on a park bench. It's very heartbreaking event.

Lucy approachs to David. the expression of her face showed that she would be angry.

“Who is that woman?” asked Lucy with a bit emotional voice.

“She was my former girlfriend. now she is my best friend. I never to forget her.”

“I think your relationship is more than as friend.”

“It’s real, he was my former girlfriend. I'm not going to betray you probably. You are…”

Before David went on his talks, Lucy then refute his words.

            “You are lie! I don’t believe with you.” Said Lucy with angry.

Lucy leave David immediately and let him alone. David who was chaotic burdened with this problem again, as if making the head feel burst.

After the incident, David and then returned home. He immediately went into his chamber and lay on the bed, he try to reduce the situation of  chaos in his heart. Then he remembers his promise to Winda. He will love and keep Lucy to reminisce Winda.

            “What can I do to make Lucy believe to me again?” though him in heart.

He then remember s a song that reminds a believe in love.

            “Believe In Me song, yeah that is the song! Maybe this song can help me to make she believe to me again.” though him happily. And he plans to go to Winda’s house tonight.

            In Lucy’s house, Lucy looks very confusing. How her boyfriend which she believe want to betray her. Not long after, the bell of her house ring. Then Lucy opens the door and that comes is David.

            “What for you come to me again? I don’t believe you!” said Lucy with emotion.

            “ I want to talk with you. May I?” asked David.

            “ No!” answered her.

 “Brak…!”  she close the door of her house with rough. Lucy then barricaded herself in his room.

But suddenly, Lucy hears a song that is sung by someone with guitar accompaniment, a good song.

(“Too many hearts have been broken failing to trust what they feel…”)

“I know this song this is Believe In Me song. Is David sing that song?” though her in heart.

Then Lucy opens the door again. And right, someone that sing that song is David. He looks very appreciate that song. Suddenly he stops his song. Then, David approachs to Lucy.

            “Lucy, I don’t want if there is a heart that hurt again. Please, believe in me!” David request.

            “How I can believe to you? Are you love me?” asked Lucy.

            “I really love you Lucy, there isn’t other woman that can replace you. You are the best woman for me. I promise, I will not betray you.” said him.

            “Yes, I want to believe in you.” said Lucy.

Then, they hug tighly. Finally, their relationship is back again.

            “Good bye Winda, I will always keep my promise.” though David in heart.

    Joe liked to collect watch. Almost all of his watches were very expensive.
    One day, his neighbour arrived home from his vacation from Singapore and he brought a lot of souvenirs.
    In the afternoon, his neighbour came to Joe’s house to give him some souvenirs. When his neighbour was giving him the souvenirs, he saw his neighbour wore a new watch. “Wow, that watch is sure very expensive”, Joe thought. And then he tried to get that watch.
    In the night, Joe came to his neighbour's house and silently he took his neighbour’s watch and he also left his watch in the living room intentionally.
    The next day , his neighbour came to Joe’s house with a cheerful face. “Do you know that a thief has entered my house last night?” the neighbor asked. “No, I don’t, was the thing stolen last night very valuable for you?” Joe mumbled.” “No, he just stolen my new watch but he also left his watch in the living room.” the neighbour said. “So, was the watch that was stolen by the thief very expensive?” Joe asked. The neighbour replied, “The watch that was stolen wasn’t too expensive, it costs about five hundred thousand rupiahs, meanwhile the price of the watch that the thief has left was more than five million rupiahs.”

FINDING A WALLET
    Ari was a student of Senior High School. That day was so tiring. After a long day in the school, finally the bell of the school rang, Ari came home as soon as possible.
    As Ari went home from school he found a black wallet that dropped on the roadside. Then, he opened the wallet and there were a lot of money inside it. Without ensured that the money were fake or not, he put it into his bag.
   Because it had been daylight, he was hungry and he wanted to go to a restaurant. On the way to the restaurant Ari met Doni and Toni, his friends. Then Ari invited them to eat in the restaurant. “I will treat you.” Ari said. After arriving in the restaurant Ari ordered a lot of delicious food and the price were quite expensive. “Do you have much money to pay all of this foods?” Toni asked. ”Just stay calm, I have a lot of money.” Ari said.
    After eating all of the foods, Doni and Toni returned home first because they would follow a course. After they said farewell to Ari, they immediately went home. Ari directly went to cashier to pay the food that they have eaten. “How much the price for all the foods that we’ve eaten?” Ari asked. The cashier replied. ”Five hundred and fifty thousand rupiahs”. Then Ari took and opened the wallet that he’s found previously. How shocked Ari was when he saw that the money in the wallet was monopoly money that picture are cartoons, power rangers, and teletubbies pictures that were usually played by children. “Oh My God”, thought Ari. And then with fear and embarrassment that remarkable, he said to the cashier that he had no money. And then that cashier directly told the restaurant manager. Finally, Ari was ordered to wash the plates for two weeks to pay the food.
